The Black Barbershop Health Outreach Program is dedicated to addressing health care disparities in African American men. WE NEED YOUR HELP !
Since the program began in December 2007 we have visited over 500 black owned barbershops, 38 cities and screened over 30,000 men for diabetes and high blood pressure. We've also provided educational information about prostate cancer decision making. Through our pilot program, First Saturdays, we've got men to go to the doctor that otherwise would never have had the opportunity to do so. Help us save lives !
